Seminar: Patterns, Processes and Consequences of Phenological Mismatches Across Scales
My talk has three parts - one focusing on how bird arrival and breeding phenology relates to underlying timing of spring and the potential of phenological mismatch. The next part focuses on insect and plant phenology mismatches and how we can start to examine which trait groups are most at risk due to climatic changes. The final section touches on some data sciences efforts using AI and knowledge systems to build phenological resources.
