Research

As a CART program coordinator, Ariel facilitates peer-to-peer knowledge sharing by communicating lessons learned from on-the-ground research and management projects in two focal areas: grassland restoration & management, and fire & climate adaptation. Ariel’s other research interests center on soil science, soil carbon, and restoration ecology.

Teaching

Ariel has facilitated workshops on social and environmental topics and spent 3 semesters as a graduate TA teaching environmental science and Spanish. Ariel currently supports graduate and undergraduate student interns as they develop Case Study materials for CART.
