Research
Aquaculture - making aquaculture more sustainable by integrating with irrigated agriculture, substituting ingredients in aquafeeds to eliminate the use of fishmeal and fish oil, and developing multi-trophic farming systems using shrimp, fish and seaweeds.

I teach two courses in aquatic biology one that covers aquatic plants and wetlands and the other that covers biology and culture of freshwater and marine algae:
