Shirley Papuga Receives 2013 National Science Foundation Career Award

Dr. Shirley Papuga, SNRE Assistant Professor and Chair of the Watershed Management and Ecohydrology Program, was one of two Professors at the University of Arizona to receive the 2013 National Science Foundation Career Award, which is the agency's most prestigious honor for junior faculty members. The award includes a grant of around $500,000 over five years, and is given to scientists who demonstrate outstanding research, excellent education and have a particular skill at integrating both aspects.
