Don Falk is the lead scientist for FireScape, a collaborative project with the UA, several federal and local agencies and land managers which aims to understand and manage fire in Arizona. A recent article in UANews interviews Dr. Falk and SNRE's Jim Malusa about this important effort to help maintain Arizona's unique sky island ecosystems.
