Dr. Falk in High Country News: "Forest Service leadership lands in Southern hands"

Dr. Donald Falk was recently interviewed regarding the appointment of the new chief of the U.S. Forest Service, Tony Tooke. Dr. Falk was called to speculate on how Tooke's experience in the Forest Service in the Southeast might translate to the environment of the Southwest, particularly in light of the continued challenge of devastating wildfires. Dr. Falk also offered his perspective on Tooke's role in creating the Forest Service's guidelines for restoration.
