Diana Githu wins 1st place in the Grad Slam, Best Environmental and Social Justice Presentation

SNRE students Diana Githu and Sonia Delphin Perez qualified for the Grad Slam 2019 Final Round hosted by hosted by the Graduate College's Graduate Center, and the Graduate and Professional Student Council. Diana Githu won 1st place in the competition, as well as the Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice?'s Best Environment and Social Justice Presentation. Their SNRE-related presentations were described as 'fantastic' and Diana and Sonia were referred to as 'great representatives of your program and the wonderful work being done through SNRE.' SNRE was also named the most supportive audience members at the event last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch our amazing finalists who represent SNRE so well.
